I've been building websites since 2004. A few years after I started I began to create dynamic sites using the extremely flexible blogging technology called Wordpress. It was great to use and I continued with it for more than 10 years. Of late, however, as a nod towards retirement (I'm in my mid-60s), I've decided to go back to my roots and start developing sites which are more static. They're great for when you want a web presence without necessarily wanting to have all the functionality of a dynamic site.
I'm based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire in the UK, and have worked with clients around the world.
My other main work role is as Administrative Director of Hebden Bridge Piano Festival. I volunteer at our local, comunity-owned Town Hall, and sing with Hepton Singers, a chamber choir.
I'm also the mother of three grown-up children, partner to pianist (and Piano Festival Artistic Director) Dave Nelson and granny to the fabulous Oli.
